On July 15, Leganés officially announced that they would play a closed-door friendly against Real Madrid at Valdebebas on July 28.

The club confirmed that there will be another training match before the start of the new season. The team will face Real Madrid at Valdebebas Stadium at 6:00 PM on July 28 (12:00 AM on July 29, Beijing time (CEST)).

This match will be held behind closed doors and will be the team's fifth test match of the summer. They have previously scheduled matches against Levante, Albacete, Nacional da Madeira, and Penafiel, with the latter two matches being part of the pre-season preparation and taking place in Portugal.

After the training match against Real Madrid, Leganés will face Swansea in Wales in August, and then return to Leganés to play against Al Rayyan, Mérida, and Tenerife, with the match against Tenerife being the 46th Leganés Cup.
