The report emphasizes that this does not mean Inter Milan will necessarily use this money to sign a specific target, but rather indicates that Oaktree Capital has not "closed the investment valve" – they merely hope these funds can be utilized most reasonably and efficiently in the transfer market.

This also corroborates another previously reported clue: Inter Milan will not pay an excessive premium for any player. After the team collectively scouts and identifies transfer targets that meet their needs, the management will formulate what they deem a reasonable offer amount, which will vary depending on the circumstances. For Ballestera, Inter Milan originally planned to invest approximately 50 million euros; for Romero, Inter Milan believes his valuation should be around 40 million euros, and anything above that figure would not be cost-effective; similar logic applies to Spence (Tottenham Hotspur's asking price is 47 million euros) and Solet (the gap between the two sides' asking price and offer is around 10 million euros).

Stones' case is more illustrative – he is not young, and although his annual salary is high, it is still within a controllable range. Inter Milan is looking for opportunities that can genuinely improve the team's strength, while always prioritizing sustainability. Blindly following trends, buying for the sake of buying, and inflating expenses are not solutions. However, if Inter Milan truly has the chance to acquire a top player who can change the team's present and future before others, then they are willing to try a real offer of up to 70 million euros for it.

According to current market trends, the possibility of such a large-scale operation occurring in this summer's transfer window is small, and Inter Milan is also waiting for the prices of certain players to fall – because in their view, many players, although strong, have not yet reached an absolute top level, and are overpriced. However, at a suitable future point in time, Inter Milan's acquisition of top players should not be entirely ruled out.
