According to Brazilian media outlet Ge, the Brazilian Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) fined Corinthians 10,000 Brazilian reals (approximately 1,680 euros) after some Corinthians fans insulted an 8-year-old boy and his family who had received a Neymar jersey following a Brazilian League match against Santos, causing a disturbance in the stands.

The incident occurred last Sunday during the 25th round of the Brazilian League at Corinthians' home stadium, Neo Química Arena, where Santos defeated Corinthians 1-0. After the match, Neymar gave his match jersey to a young Corinthians fan who had previously expressed that he was a Neymar supporter.

However, Neymar's gesture provoked discontent among some nearby Corinthians fans, who began insulting the boy and his family, creating a disturbance. To ensure their safety, the boy and his family were escorted out of the stands by Brazilian military police and stadium security personnel.

The match report documented the entire incident: "After the match, player Neymar presented his jersey to a young fan seated in the home team's west stand. This gesture sparked dissatisfaction and commotion among other nearby fans, followed by verbal abuse and disorder. Military police and private security personnel promptly escorted the young fan and his family from the scene, leading them through the southwest exit into the stadium's interior to ensure their safety and restore order."

Because the incident was documented in the match report, the Brazilian Sports Justice Public Prosecutor's Office subsequently charged Corinthians.

Corinthians was found to have violated Article 213, Paragraph I, of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice, which states that clubs "fail to take measures capable of preventing and curbing disturbances within their venues." The club was fined 10,000 Brazilian reals. According to relevant regulations, this infraction can result in a fine ranging from 100 to 100,000 Brazilian reals.

Additionally, Corinthians was penalized for two other violations during this hearing. The team returned to the field 3 minutes late after halftime, and 67 children participated in the pre-match entrance ceremony, exceeding the permitted number. Due to these two violations, Corinthians must pay an additional fine of 10,500 Brazilian reals.

The total penalties imposed on Corinthians at this hearing amounted to 20,500 Brazilian reals.
