Real Madrid officially announced that following an examination by the Real Madrid medical department, Mbappé was diagnosed with a hyperextension of the posterior capsule in his left knee.

The official statement read: "After the tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappé by Real Madrid's Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a hyperextension of the posterior capsule of his left knee. Awaiting evolution."

According to COPE reporter Arancha Rodríguez, Mbappé is expected to be sidelined for approximately two weeks (10-15 days). Based on the fixture schedule, Mbappé could potentially return for Real Madrid's first match following the international break against Villarreal in La Liga Matchday 8.

Mbappé suffered the injury during France's match against Turkey after scoring and was subsequently substituted. Following the match, he departed the national team to return to Real Madrid for examination.
