The trailer for "Messi and the Giants," an animated series produced by Sony with Messi as executive producer, has been released. The animation is set to officially launch on Disney+ next year.

According to Disney's official announcement, the first trailer for the animated sports fantasy series "Messi and the Giants" was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con in San Diego. Over 3,000 attendees watched the preview.
Executive producers Lacy Stanton and Bryan Konietzko, director Dan Krall, and Sergi Reit introduced the series' original world-building, characters, and music. The trailer also featured the theme song "Vamos, Vamos, Vamos," performed by Argentine singer Luck Ra, for the first time.
Argentine actor Milo Burgos-Webb will voice the character of Leo in the series. "Messi and the Giants" tells the story of 12-year-old Leo, who accidentally finds himself in an alternate world ruled by giants. To return home, he must use a power called "Orbs" to participate in intense football-like battles, defeat legendary giants, and repair a broken world called "Iko."
Unlike the giants around him, Leo cannot use the world's mystical powers to enhance his abilities. Instead, he must rely on his skills, teamwork, and determination to embark on an adventure of courage, perseverance, and self-belief.
The series is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television, Sony Music Latin Iberia, and Sony Music Vision, with animation by Atlantis Animation. Messi serves as executive producer.
"Messi and the Giants" is scheduled to launch globally on Disney+ in summer 2027 and will also air on Disney Channel in the United States.
