According to Sport, Barcelona is keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt's 15-year-old attacking midfielder Niko Ilićević. Other European giants such as Real Madrid, Man City, Milan, and Inter are also closely monitoring the German U17 international.

Ilićević, a 15-year-old left-footed attacking midfielder, currently plays in the Eintracht Frankfurt youth academy and has been called up to the Germany U17 national team. Barcelona, constantly searching for young talents capable of reaching the first team, has now set its sights on Ilićević.

According to Sky Germany, Barcelona, alongside other European powerhouses like Real Madrid, Man City, Milan, and Inter, is monitoring the midfielder's development. At just 15 years old, he has become one of the most promising young talents in German football, and his progress has attracted the attention of major European clubs.

The left-footed attacking midfielder can play across several offensive positions and is already a Germany U17 international. He has consistently demonstrated exceptional precocity throughout his youth career. In 2018, he joined the Eintracht Frankfurt academy from VfR Goldbach, and by age 13, he was already playing for the U17 team. At 14, he skipped another age group to feature in U19 matches.

Eintracht Frankfurt is well aware of the interest surrounding this young player and has been working for months to secure his future. Last summer, the club announced that Ilićević had signed a long-term contract, though the specific expiration date was not disclosed.

A crucial element of his contract situation is particularly noteworthy. According to Sky Germany, the existing agreement will automatically convert into a professional contract when Ilićević turns 16 at the end of October. Eintracht Frankfurt hopes to retain him through this arrangement while also fast-tracking his path to the first team.

Eintracht Frankfurt regards the German international as one of the most significant talents to emerge from their academy in recent years. The club's aim is to gradually integrate him into the professional team structure and create opportunities for a first-team debut, thereby convincing him to continue his development at the club.
