According to The Sun, Manchester United is considering legal action if J.J. Gabriel leaves the club.
Gabriel, 15, informed United last month that he wanted to terminate his registration, and club sources expect the young player to depart.
If this attacking midfielder moves abroad, United would receive only a small compensation fee, while Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich have all expressed interest in the player.
Sources say United has considered regulatory and legal action against any intermediaries who might facilitate the departure of the England U17 international.
Agent Ali Barat received FA clearance to represent minor players on the same day news broke that Gabriel wanted to leave United.

Barat's agency, Epic Sports, facilitated Denzel Dumfries's move to Real Madrid and Nicolas Jackson to Aston Villa in the summer, while also arranging talks between Gabriel's representatives and both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
