Ahead of the UEFA Nations League match between Turkey and Belgium, Güler attended the pre-match press conference, discussing the pressure he faces within the team, the team's recent performance, and topics such as his Real Madrid teammate Mbappé.

On the pressure he faces in the Turkish national team and the trust among teammates

I don't feel like I'm under unbearable pressure. I have talent, and my compatriots, my teammates, and the veterans in the team all believe in me, just as I believe in them. Actually, we're not just relying on Arda to carry the team; everyone is fighting together. Sometimes one of us plays better, sometimes another. But we all trust each other very much. I hope we can show that collective effort again tomorrow.

On the performances against France and Italy, and how the team responded

Except for the first half against Italy, I think we played with a lot of fighting spirit against France. We might have been able to win those games. France is one of the strongest teams. I also feel that we responded very well in the second half against Italy. So, if we can play to our full potential, play and fight together as a team, and respond like that, I believe we can achieve good results.

On the reasons why the team hasn't won, and regaining winning momentum

Maybe we aren't lacking anything, but maybe there are some things we're not doing right. We're facing very strong opponents, which is why we haven't won. But we are united again, because we are together when we play well, and we are together when we don't. I hope tomorrow we can play and respond together again, and I hope we can regain our winning momentum.

On being named Real Madrid Player of the Month

Of course, that makes me very proud. But I hope we win tomorrow; that would make me even happier.

On Mbappé's skill and character, and exchanging jerseys after the match

Mbappé is one of the best players in the world, and also a very good person. He is very humble and honest. He is excellent on the field and equally upright off it. We exchanged jerseys after the match, talked about the game, and chatted for a while.
