Pogba's career at Monaco is nearing its end, while the frequently injured Fati and Dier's uncertain future also raise questions.

Fati and Pogba watched their teammates train from a small slope at the Monaco training center, relaxed and wearing slippers. Neither was match fit, and both were recovering individually. Dier was available and even captained the team, but he only played in the second half of an insignificant pre-season friendly (2-2) against Cercle Brugge, alongside younger players. The scene took place on July 31st in La Turbie, where none of these three prominent summer transfer window arrivals were in the expected starting lineup.
