England got their Under 21 European Championship campaign off to the perfect start with a 2-0 win against the Czech Republic.

Lee Carsley's Young Lions started well with the dangerous Noni Madueke hitting the bar after just three minutes.
However, the Czechs posed a threat on the counter attack and England had Man City's James Trafford to thank for some fantastic saves as it was goalless at half-time.
They came out firing in the second period as a fine one-two betweeen Jacob Ramsey and Anthony Gordon ended with the Aston Villa man firing home superbly just 90 seconds into the second half.
Carsley's side went onto dominate the second period and Emile Smith-Rowe tapped home with the last kick off the game.
