During Wednesday's talkSPORT Breakfast programme, presenters Brazil and Ally McCoist discussed the potential sanctions Man City could face.

Brazil, a talkSPORT presenter and former Manchester United striker, revealed: "I've heard it could be a 60-point deduction, which would please a lot of people while still giving Man City a chance to avoid relegation.
"I'm not sure if it would apply to this season. I don't think it could be for this season because of fixture scheduling issues; by the time the punishment is actually implemented, it could be too late.
"Would it be next season? But they're talking about a 60-point deduction now."
However, this could be good news for Man City fans, as Brazil went on to suggest the information he heard could also be "complete nonsense."
Meanwhile, McCoist believes a 60-point deduction may not be severe enough for the breaches Man City has committed.
He responded: "I think a lot of people will feel that's not enough. Of course, we have to see the result of this appeal first. If they lose the appeal, I think everyone will be demanding a harsher punishment."
Regarding whether a 60-point deduction would guarantee Man City's relegation, McCoist said: "I'm not sure that would guarantee they go down. You have to say it's very likely they would go down. If the Premier League safety mark is around 37, 38, or 39 points, that would certainly put enormous pressure on them, let's put it that way."
Following Man City's appeal, any potential punishment could still take several months to be decided. According to Premier League regulations, the appeal hearing must be held within 12 weeks. The hearing cannot exceed 5 days and a decision must be announced within 30 days.
