Ahead of Bundesliga matchday 4's home fixture against Union Berlin, Gnabry discussed his comeback and return to the German national team.
On his comeback:
I feel great and I'm happy to be back. It's been a long time since I was just a spectator. I hope to put in a good performance and get some playing time to feel what it's like to be on the pitch again.
On returning to the German national team:
For me, being selected for the national team is very positive, and it allows me to maintain my match rhythm. I've been training for a few weeks but haven't had any playing time yet, so this is a good opportunity for me to continue training and possibly get a chance to play. Let's see what happens. But I'm already pleased to be back with the German national team.
