On June 25,(CEST), in the final round of the FIFA World Cup group stage match between Brazil and Scotland, Vinicius capitalized on an opponent's error to score the opening goal just 7 minutes into the game.

According to Stats Foot, this goal was Vinicius' 96th under Ancelotti, surpassing Kaká to become the fifth-highest goalscorer under Ancelotti, behind only Filippo Inzaghi (161 goals), Benzema (121 goals), Ronaldo (112 goals), and Shevchenko (103 goals).

The issue is that he’s still a winger, while the other four are center forwards. Wingers are primarily tasked with dribbling past defenders and providing assists—not scoring goals. Vinícius’s scoring efficiency is already truly remarkable.
