Portuguese Primeira Liga club C.D. Alves have submitted an official complaint against Egyptian Premier League giants Zamalek and Egyptian Football Association for the lack of arrival of Mahmoud Kahraba’s international clearance.

Aves have announced the signing of Egypt international winger Kahraba from Zamalek last month.
The 25-year-old went AWOL at Zamalek and failed to report back for his club’s pre-season preparations due to a disagreement over the validity of his contract at the club.
Kahraba and his agent claim that the player’s contract at Zamalek has run out on June 30, which will allow him to sign for any club for free.
On the contrary, Zamalek’s president Mortada Mansour says that Kahraba is under a contract until June 2023 and that the player is not allowed to move on a free transfer, hence refusing to send the player’s international clearance.
Aves decided to take an action to preserve their rights and complained against Zamalek and the EFA to FIFA for the missing of the international clearance.
The Portuguese club have also requested a provisional clearance for the player until the dispute with the Whites is settled.
