Egypt international and IFK Norrköping winger Alexander Amir Adel Jakobsen has joined Kalmar FF on a year loan until 2020.

The 25-year-old struggled to get game time last season in the 2019 Allsvenskan, featuring in only seven games.

Since his move to Sweeden in 2017, Jakobsen has contributed to five goals and seven assists in 46 games in all competitions for IFK Norrköping.

The former Falkenberg player was asked about his mindset when he heard that Kalmar FF were interested in him.

“For me, the most important thing was to move on from Norrköping and get some playing time.

“Football means everything to me and I have to come to a club that believes in me and where I get to play. When this opportunity came up to get playing time, I did not hesitate,” he added.
