Allianza Lima manager Cesar Torres has confirmed the club are in talks with Manchester City over youngster Kluiverth Aguilar.

The 16-year-old was first linked with a move to the Etihad back in June, with reports claiming they were interested in his signature.

Speaking to Fútbol Como Cancha, Alianza Lima boss Cesar Torres admitted the clubs 'are in talks' about a move for Aguilar 'but there is nothing signed yet'.

The manager did not go into the details of the potential move, but the fact that Manchester City are pursuing a deal cannot be denied.

The manager's comments suggest there is still some way to go before Aguilar is on his way to City but that now looks like being a case of when, rather than if.
