Group H: Tottenham vs Real Madrid

Probable line-ups:

Focus:

1. Keylor Navas and Gareth Bale are both injured for Real Madrid and are joined by Jesus Vallejo and Mateo Kovacic on the sidelines.

2. Dani Carvajal has overcome a heart problem, but he is unlikely to feature and he continues to be monitored by the club.

3. Raphael Varane is ruled out for the away side having been forced off at half time in the 2-1 loss to Girona and could be replaced by Nacho in defence.

4. Dele Alli is available in the Champions League for the first time this season and could come into the starting XI behind Harry Kane, though the England international is a doubt with a hamstring problem, but has trained with the squad ahead of Wednesday's match.

5. Erik Lamela and Victor Wanyama will both miss out here, though Spurs' injury issues have eased in recent weeks.

6. Mauricio Pochettino could use a defensive setup, with Eric Dier playing in defence once more and Jan Vertonghen at left-back as he did at the Bernabeu.

1. Borussia Dortmund have failed to win their last 5 matches (UEFA Champions League).

2. Maximilian Philipp and Omer Toprak are both doubts for Borussia Dortmund and will be assessed closer to kick off.

3. Erik Durm, Sebastian Rode and Lukasz Piszczek are all ruled out for the hosts, which could see Marc Bartra continue at right-back.

Group E: Liverpool vs Maribor

Focus: 

1. Philippe Coutinho is an injury concern for Liverpool on Wednesday after missing their 3-0 win over Huddersfield through injury. He may not be risked by Jurgen Klopp.

2. Roberto Firmino suffered with cramp at the weekend, while Joe Gomez - available again in Europe after suspension - has a minor issue and Klopp may rest both here.

3. Dejan Lovren picked up an injury in the warm up before the Huddersfield match and isn't expected to feature here, with Ragnar Klavan set to start for the second match in a row.

3. Unless Pep Guardiola moves Gabriel Jesus out wide, he might drop to the bench to faciliate Aguero's return.

4. Kevin De Bruyne will incur a suspension with his next booking.
