Kenya forwards have been firing blanks in the last two games against Libya and Zanzibar

Nakumatt FC striker Kepha Aswani has been dropped to the bench in Kenya’s last Group A match against Tanzania.

The host will take on Kilimanjaro Stars in a high stake clash at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos where anything short of a win may blow away Stars’ chances of progressing to the semi final.

Kenya forwards have been firing blanks in the last two games against Libya and Zanzibar and coach Paul Put made yet another change in his attack-line as he tries to come up with a winning combination.

In the absence of Aswani and Masoud Juma, Put gave AFC Leopards striker, Vincent Oburi his first start in the tournament.

Vincent Oburu, who was introduced in the second half of Stars previous match against Zanzibar, has been included in the starting lineup same as Ernest Wendo who took the place of Duncan Otieno in midfield.

Kenya is second in Group A with five points, two less than leaders Zanzibar, who will be up against Libya in the first match of the day scheduled to kick off at 2 pm.
