The defender has fully recovered from his shoulder injury and he expects to be reinstated to the Gbenga Ogunbote's starters against the Sky Blue Stars

Having missed the People’s Elephants' last three matches after aggravating a shoulder injury against Rivers United on March 26, the left-back completed Monday’s training sessions without any discomfort and says that he is ready to face the Sky Blue Stars.

“I feel I am ready now after having rested it long enough. I have been training without pains and I'm certain I will be ready for Remo Stars if the coaches pick me," Akas told Goal.

"It was a shame I have to miss those matches but I am however happy that my teammates did very well in my absence.”
