Schweinsteiger recommended a former Bayern coach as a potential candidate for the new Germany national team coach, alongside Klopp.

"If Van Gaal has the energy and health for it, then yes, absolutely. He is well-suited for the role. He is someone who can build a new system and bring structure," explained the 41-year-old German legend.
Schweinsteiger was very familiar with Van Gaal during their time at Bayern (2009-2011), where they won the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and DFL-Supercup together.
Before Bayern, Van Gaal had coached Ajax, Barcelona, and AZ Alkmaar. After his two-year stint at Bayern, he went on to manage the Netherlands national team (twice) and Manchester United.
