On August 3, according to information from the Football Association of Serbia's social media, the Football Association of Serbia has withdrawn its support for Gianni Infantino's re-election as FIFA President.

The Football Association of Serbia stated that they had provided written support to Infantino on May 25 this year, but after carefully reviewing recent events that have severely damaged the reputation and prestige of FIFA and its president, they decided to withdraw their support, calling it the only logical and rational move.
The Football Association of Serbia believes that the future of world football must be built on transparency, dialogue, mutual respect, and partnerships among all confederations and national associations.
The Football Association of Serbia stated that they believe any strategically important decisions for the future of football should not be made without broad consensus and open consultation with all relevant parties.
The Football Association of Serbia also stated that it remains committed to cooperating with FIFA, UEFA, and all national associations to develop and promote football, but believes that at this moment, new trust, new approaches, and leadership capable of fostering dialogue, unity, and credibility within international football institutions are needed.
