OFFICIAL: USA national team head coach Pochettino renews contract until 2030

The United States Men's National Football Team officially announced that they have renewed the contract with head coach Mauricio Pochettino, with the new contract set to expire in 2030. Pochettino will lead the team through the preparation cycle for the next World Cup.

The United States Soccer Federation has reached a new contract with Mauricio Pochettino. He will remain the head coach of the United States Men's National Football Team until 2030, opening a new chapter for the program. This move allows Pochettino and his coaching staff to continuously push forward the development of the US senior men's national team and exert a more profound impact on the US football ecosystem.

Pochettino took charge of the US men's national team in September 2024. At this summer's home World Cup, the US team was eliminated in the Round of 16 for the 4th consecutive time, losing 1-4 to Belgium in the round of 16.
