The K League announced on August 5 that due to the recent continuous high temperatures in South Korea, the kickoff times for all 5 matches of the K1 League Round 22 and all 8 matches of the K2 League Round 21, originally scheduled for the 2026 season, will be adjusted.

All matches' kickoff times have been postponed from the original local time of 19:30 (Beijing time (CEST) 18:30) to local time 20:00 (Beijing time (CEST) 19:00). South Korea has recently been hit by a severe heatwave, with temperatures in many areas continuously exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, posing significant challenges to outdoor sporting events.

The league stated that this adjustment is primarily due to the impact of the persistent high temperatures, aiming to ensure the safety of players, spectators, and event staff.
