Gary Neville believes Manchester United are fortunate this weekend, as they are playing against one of the few Premier League teams whose situation is even more troubled than his former club's.

Manchester United's dismal start to the season worsened recently when they squandered a two-goal lead at Old Trafford against Brighton, suffering an embarrassing early exit from the League Cup.

However, Neville believes that Fulham are also in a period of transition, which could provide the ideal opponent for Manchester United to build momentum.

Neville confidently stated on "The Overlap": "Manchester United will win this game. I think Manchester United will win on Sunday.

"To be honest, I've watched Fulham a few times and I think they're really going to struggle. I don't even know how they play... everything is just wrong.

"Honestly, you'll probably cut this part out on Sunday night, but in my opinion, everything is wrong with Fulham right now. There are problems in all aspects, and they might really be in big trouble. I predict 2-1."
