Fiorentina coach Paolo Vanoli attended the pre-match press conference ahead of the fixture against Napoli. The match will be played at 12:30 PM on Sunday at the Stadio Franchi. Vanoli discussed the opponent, team tactics, penalty taker selection, and the situation of several players.

Regarding Napoli, Vanoli said: "This team must look to the future. We will face a very strong team that won the Serie A title two years ago, but such matches must be played without fear. I have told the players what I want."
"Napoli has a strong and deep squad and is one of the contenders for the Serie A title. They have players who can decide the game with their individual ability. I really admire De Bruyne; he has excellent technique and ability, can attack spaces, and also knows how to control the pace of the game."
Regarding Dragusin's physical condition, Vanoli said: "Dragusin is fine now. He previously had muscle tightness, but now there are no problems."
Regarding the team's tactic of using two defensive midfielders as playmakers, Vanoli explained: "Everyone has their own understanding of football, and then it depends on the specific tactical execution. Based on the characteristics of our central midfielders, this team needs two central playmakers. Sometimes, depending on the specific match, it can also become a single central playmaker."
"For example, Uray will attack the space behind, but we must find a balance in the game. We have young and talented players, but sometimes we lose balance in the defensive phase. For me, the best player in the match against Pisa a few days ago was Gnonto."
Regarding team cohesion, Vanoli said: "Once we find the right goal, I am willing to do anything for this team. The barbecue we organized yesterday was very good because it shows that the players are willing to stay together. Sometimes, these things are more important than everything else."
Regarding Pellegrino and Beto, Vanoli said: "We are fortunate to have two such important players and have options. The primary goal is always to play for the team. Of course, their characteristics are not the same, and they can provide me with two different attacking pivots, and also differ in the defensive phase. When I coached Torino, after Duvan Zapata was injured, I once considered bringing in Beto."
Regarding Jimenez and Baldepena, Vanoli said: "From the perspective of future development, for me, the two full-backs are the most important players in the offensive organization phase. At this stage, my primary focus is on team balance until we can truly control the game."
Regarding the team's penalty takers, Vanoli said: "Everyone knew who the first penalty taker was last season. Pedro Goncalves has proven to be a very good penalty taker, and Mastantonio is the same. Of course, on the field, everyone should show their personality. If someone feels they are not in good form, they can also decide to let someone else take the penalty."
Regarding Pedro Goncalves, Vanoli said: "His tactical ability is excellent, and he plays very well, which can be seen from his statistics. I talked to him and asked him where he prefers to play, and he told me it was in the center. When he and Ata operate in the space between the defensive lines, they can both break through and create threats."
Regarding what kind of Napoli he expects to face, Vanoli said: "Allegri is a winner; he knows how to understand and exploit his team's strengths. If the opponent allows us to control the ball, we must be careful not to fall into the trap of only focusing on playing beautifully."
"Højlund is the fastest player in Serie A in open space, and we must be very careful in the defensive phase. Their players have a better resume than ours, but ultimately it depends on the match. For our club, this is the first season of building for the future."
Finally, regarding Dodo, Vanoli said: "He is in the team's plans, just like everyone else. I have never excluded anyone from the team in my life. He has been training very well since I arrived here."
