After Chelsea's 0-3 away loss to Brentford, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp discussed Estevao and Reece James.

In this match, Welbeck replaced the injured João Pedro, with Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer operating behind the striker.

Currently, it seems difficult for Estevao to displace Rogers or Palmer from the starting lineup in the short term, but Redknapp believes Alonso must find a place for the Brazilian prospect.

In 5 Premier League appearances this season, Estevao has come on as a substitute 4 times, playing a total of just 23 minutes.

Redknapp said on Sky Sports: "I look at Estevao and think, is he too good not to be playing in this team?

"His talent is incredible, but when you have Morgan Rogers, Cole Palmer, and João Pedro, how do you get him into the team? These are the problems Alonso needs to solve."

This season, Reece James has been deployed in midfield under Alonso, but Redknapp questions his long-term role in the team.

Redknapp added: "There are some questions here about what's best for him. Is Reece James better suited to play as a wing-back or in midfield?

"Sometimes when I watch him play, I don't think he has the fitness to run up and down the pitch constantly. As a midfielder, I'm also not sure the position always suits him. I'm not convinced he always reads the game well enough, but he is the team captain."
