After Everton's 1-0 victory over Ipswich, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was interviewed about the win and goalscorer Thierno Ballo.

Pickford said: "It's great to end the week this way. It was a tough game, especially after they went down to ten men. Everyone expected us to win, and we did."

On Thierno Ballo, who scored the winning goal, Pickford said: "He trains very hard, and if he keeps working, the goals will come naturally. The first season in the Premier League is always difficult, but he's gradually adapted to it. His start to the season is much better than before."

Pickford concluded: "It's always great to end with a win, especially with a long international break coming up. You have to grit your teeth and stick with it—that's the Everton way. We are building momentum. When we come back after the international break, we'll stay focused and be ready to get back into it."
