According to Foot Mercato, Ligue 1+ arranged a reunion between Abou Diaby and Arsène Wenger during the Paris FC vs. Strasbourg match.

Abou Diaby met Arsène Wenger at halftime during Saturday's match. Diaby said enthusiastically: "It's a great pleasure to see the boss. Honestly, you've given me quite a surprise. It's wonderful to see you, boss. You are very important to me, and as I always say, I can never fully express my gratitude for giving me the opportunity to play at the highest level. That will always stay with me."

Wenger also praised Diaby, who now works as a commentator for Ligue 1+: "When you saw him as a young man, it was harder to see what he lacked than what he possessed. He had height, explosiveness, dribbling skills, and the ability to read the game. We went through many difficult times together because he was often injured, but he always returned with extraordinary courage. Thanks to his mentality and exceptional talent, he was always recognized by everyone at the club."

Wenger added with a smile: "I hear he's also excellent as a commentator; this man is good at everything. Should we give him recognition? Of course. He's hardworking and intelligent, which goes a long way."
