According to Italian newspaper Il Giorno, after Internazionale came back from two goals down to draw with Roma, Chivu reached 100 points in 43 Serie A matches coaching the Nerazzurri.

Il Giorno also wrote: "The Roma-Internazionale match gave a strong sense that the title race between Chivu and Gasperini could be competitive for a long time.
