Japan international Ritsu Doan addressed his failed transfer to Saudi Arabia (Al-Ittihad) during the summer transfer window, speaking to the media on September 22nd during a national team training session in Chiba Prefecture.

The Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder revealed that after extensive deliberation, he chose to remain with the Bundesliga club. "I was very distressed and discussed it with many people," Doan said.
