Nico Paz was interviewed by TyC Sports and discussed Messi's farewell from the national team.

Reporter: Nico, how do you feel about being called up to the national team at this critical moment, with Messi about to leave?

Paz: I'm as enthusiastic as ever. I'll give my all and deliver my best when representing the national team.

Reporter: There's currently uncertainty about whether Scaloni will continue as national team coach. What are your thoughts? Did he ever give you confidence?

Paz: Yes, he did. For me, he's one of the most important people—he gave me my national team debut. I hope he stays, and I look forward to continuing to be called up. My feelings haven't changed; I still have the same passion and desire to play for my country.

Reporter: During the World Cup qualifiers, with Messi absent, what are the team's plans for the future?

Paz: We will maintain our usual fighting spirit. Messi's departure will certainly have a significant impact, as he's crucial to the squad, but we must move forward now.

Reporter: Tell us about your current form.

Paz: I'm doing well and in good form, having improved from before. My preseason preparation wasn't ideal, but I'm gradually getting back to my best as I play more matches.
