We have another match in three days, and physical and mental recovery will not be easy. That will be my main focus. In my view, the players did not deserve to lose this match.

What are your thoughts on today's pitch conditions? The defenders frequently sent long balls at the start of the match. Was instructing long balls to Barış Yılmaz a pre-match tactic? If so, wouldn't bringing in Deniz Gül have been more appropriate?

Using three defenders, in addition to defensive considerations, allows for more passing options between players and better ball control. The pitch conditions didn't help, and France's pressure was very effective and fast. So we managed to play better from the back when we had the opportunity to build from defense as planned.

However, this match was very difficult both physically and tactically. The opponents have excellent players in every position on the pitch, and their physical and tactical level is at the highest standard. This was the type of match we faced.

This match required a very high level physically, tactically, and strategically. When competing against such players, we've been saying for days that we must avoid even the smallest mistakes. Their physical and tactical qualities allow them to capitalize on chances. Today we made two small mistakes and conceded. It's true that in any match there are small mistakes, and opponents will make mistakes too—that's football. I regret after this loss because, truly, the players didn't deserve to lose. They tried hard from all aspects. What matters most now is helping them recover physically and mentally so the team can show the same fighting spirit and unity in the next match.

What are your thoughts on the fans' atmosphere in Kocaeli today? Also, it's often said that midfielders control the match in football. Both Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Orkun Kökçü were absent today. Do you think their presence—one or both—would have changed the team's attacking and defensive transitions and ball recovery?

Regarding midfield, we really miss Orkun and Hakan. Their absence due to intense fixtures is concerning.
