After Portugal's away victory over Denmark, Vitinha was interviewed by RTP and Sport TV, where he praised Jorge Jesus' coaching and discussed his first goal for Portugal and the team's spirit.

During his interview with RTP, Vitinha answered the following questions.
This was Portugal's third victory in three matches, bringing the team much closer to qualification. It's clear the team's performance is improving. Why is this happening?
Vitinha said: "This is thanks to the coach's work. We played an excellent game, there's no denying that. Winning here is very important and very difficult. We learned that two years ago when we last came here. We lost that match, and it was a very tough game. The same is true today—don't let the score deceive you.
But beyond the victory, what's more important is what we showed during the match. This is our best performance so far. We have been continuously improving over these three matches, and the longer we work with the coach, the better we understand and internalize his ideas, and our coordination on the pitch becomes stronger. Defensively, we have always been excellent and solid, and I think today we also made progress going forward. I hope we can continue like this.
But I must say, this victory was hard-earned. Playing here is difficult—Denmark is an excellent team. I think our overall performance was outstanding, in addition to the win."
Jorge Jesus has brought significant changes to the team. I don't mean to diminish Roberto Martinez's previous work, but the team looks completely different.
Vitinha said: "As I just mentioned, the coach's work is starting to pay off, and the effects are already visible. I think this is very clear, and I'm pleased everything is going well. We want to continue like this. I also want to tell all the fans: I know you never let us down. I hope everyone fills the Estádio do Dragão, and we will try to defeat Norway and achieve four wins in four matches, which would be perfect."
Have you managed to remain unaffected by the events surrounding Ronaldo?
Vitinha said: "Yes, we tried to focus on the match, and we succeeded. I think we responded very well, and I congratulate the entire team for that."
In an interview with Sport TV, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha also spoke about scoring his first goal in his 46th appearance for Portugal.
Speaking about the goal, Vitinha joked: "There were two firsts: my first career header—this was my first header—and my first goal for Portugal. Better late than never."
Regarding Portugal's team spirit, Vitinha said: "It's obvious our team spirit is amazing. In fact, with such spirit, even if the technical performance isn't perfect, victory will be closer to us. But today we also performed well technically, and the whole team played an excellent match. This was a great victory. Even after being equalized twice, we continued to fight for the win and were hungry for it. Starting with three wins in three matches is very important."
