According to TyC Sports, the Argentine national team will play its second friendly match of this international window tonight against Burkina Faso. However, due to technical problems with their charter flight, Burkina Faso will only arrive in Argentina on the day of the match, and some players have withdrawn from the trip.

The incident began on September 30. According to the original plan, the Burkina Faso team was supposed to take a charter flight to Argentina that day. However, when the players arrived at the airport ready to board, technical problems were discovered with the aircraft.
After inspections and a lengthy delay, the flight was ultimately canceled, and the airline subsequently decided to terminate the contract. Burkina Faso was therefore forced to urgently arrange alternative travel, which caused dissatisfaction among some players.
As the rescheduled itinerary would not allow the team enough time to arrive in Argentina and prepare properly for the friendly match, some players ultimately decided to withdraw from the trip. Although efforts were made to persuade them, the players' decision remained unchanged.
With a shortage of players, Burkina Faso had to call up some U23 players to supplement the squad. These players first had to travel to Casablanca, Morocco, to join the national team already waiting there.
After several hours of waiting, Burkina Faso's flight finally took off successfully. According to the plan, if no further incidents occur en route, the team will arrive in Buenos Aires shortly before the match begins.
The friendly match between Argentina and Burkina Faso is scheduled for tonight at 9:00 PM local time at the Monumental Stadium.
Scaloni's Argentina defeated Bolivia 4-0 in their first friendly match of this international window. After facing Burkina Faso, Argentina will also play Benin next Tuesday, a match that will be Messi's farewell game in an Argentina national team jersey.
In contrast to Burkina Faso's travel difficulties, Benin has already arrived in Argentina. On Friday, Benin players traveled to Avellaneda to watch Independiente play Instituto de Córdoba in the 11th round of the Argentine Primera División's Torneo Apertura.
