According to Milan News, Comotto's future could once again be a focal point in the January transfer window. Milan had initially decided to keep him to develop alongside the squad, but due to injuries and fierce competition, the 2008-born midfielder has yet to establish himself in Serie A and European competition.

With Rabiot, Modric, Musa, Jashari, and Loftus-Cheek ahead of him in midfield, Comotto is finding it difficult to secure consistent playing time. According to Tuttosport, Milan may consider loaning Comotto out for the second half of the season. Last summer, Parma and Monza had already expressed interest in the young Rossoneri player.
