According to the latest report from Mundo Deportivo, Kounde is determined to regain his best form at Barcelona, confident that doing so will help him reclaim his place in the starting lineup.

The report indicates that, beyond playing time, the international break has made clear that Kounde must compete for a starting berth in France's new squad under Zidane. Kalulu has received more minutes as right-back, particularly in matches against Belgium and Italy.

Zidane has made it clear that there are no guaranteed starters in the squad. He has rotated his lineup across three consecutive matches. Before the match against Belgium, Kounde was self-critical in his press conference and pledged to redouble his efforts to turn around his situation at Barcelona.

Following his return to the team, Kounde aims to rediscover his best form, believing this will help him reclaim the starting position. Training under Zidane has also allowed him to refine his style further, as Zidane places great emphasis on ball possession—an area where Kounde feels he has considerable room to improve.
