In the fourth round of the UEFA Nations League A, England defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 at home. Kane, who scored twice in the match, was interviewed by beIN Sports afterwards.

It's great to be here interviewing you today. You have now equaled Peter Shilton's England caps record with 125 appearances. In this match, you scored two goals and provided one assist, bringing your England goal tally to an impressive 91. Even for you, you probably don't get nights like this every time, do you?

No, you don't expect these things, but I think it's the result of a lot of hard training, effort, and belief in myself. It was an incredible night. To equal the England caps record is far beyond my wildest imagination. As I said, to increase my England goal tally to 91 and help the team win again at Wembley is the perfect way to celebrate this record.

And this timing also coincides with the Ballon d'Or voting. Did you plan this all along?

The voting has already closed, so it actually doesn't make much difference now. We can only wait for the results. But I've always said that I'm in good form. For me, the most satisfying thing is that I've carried last season's form into this year. At this level, consistency is one of the most important things and the difference between top players and others.

I'm in a good phase right now, so it feels great to be back on the pitch with my teammates. This training camp has been long and tough, and it's great to end it in such a strong fashion today.

I was just joking about the Ballon d'Or, because I still remember your England debut. Looking back, what have been the most important moments for you, and who has played a crucial role in your journey?

My England debut is still one of my favorite matches. It was a dream come true, and I scored so quickly. I've been very fortunate to have great family, friends, teammates, and coaching staff around me who have always pushed me forward. That's also my mindset. I'm very grateful to them; they helped me achieve what I have. And we're not done yet. I'm in a good phase now, and I know everyone will continue to push me, and I will continue to push myself. I hope I can help the team and my teammates improve.

You've talked about the pain of losing to Argentina in the semifinals this summer, but you ultimately finished third. Now the team has developed a new identity under Tuchel, and he mentioned that as long as everyone is willing to take risks and support each other, we must stick to this style of play. These things are starting to show now. How much has the team's atmosphere and belief changed? Are you starting to believe more that you can achieve things, even win the European Championship at home?

I think this training camp was very important for us. Obviously, we all know how disappointing this summer was. Even now, that feeling still feels like it happened just yesterday. Then we immediately got back to it, and this time we had two and a half weeks of training together.

I think we actually started well. Although we didn't get the result we wanted against Spain, I think we performed well in some phases of the game, and that gave us more confidence. If we want to be a top team, we must stick to our own style. We cannot constantly change ourselves because of different opponents. We have a style of play that suits us best, which is to maintain physical intensity and play at a Premier League pace. You saw that again tonight.

Yes, there might be some phases in the game where the opponent gets a few chances, but ultimately, when we have these attacking players, midfielders, and so many players who can create chances, we must always be a threat. I think you've seen that very clearly during this training camp.
