Agent Pastorello stated in an interview with SportMediaset that Simone Inzaghi attracted interest from Italian clubs this summer, but he chose to stay at Al-Hilal, and his future remains undecided.

Q: Inzaghi is in his second season in Saudi Arabia. Was there a possibility of him returning to Italy last summer?

Pastorello said: "A year of experience has helped him a lot. We'll see the results after the season. This matter is not completely settled, and no direction can be said to be closed off. Of course, the club's wishes also need to be considered. Every summer, four or five clubs look for him, including Italian clubs, and this summer was no exception. But there was no need to even make contact because his idea was to stay."

Q: What is the situation with free agent Acerbi?

Pastorello said: "He really wants to return, but we need to find the right option, an environment that matches his abilities and status."

Q: Is Sommer an option for Juventus?

Pastorello said: "Juventus had contact this summer, just like many other foreign clubs and Premier League teams. Juventus had an opportunity at the time to bring him in as a backup for Di Gregorio, which would have been a chance. However, such a young and excellent goalkeeper should be playing. We can say Juventus is on the list of possibilities; let's see what happens next."

Q: After Meret's contract expires, can he renew with Napoli again?

Pastorello said: "We will certainly be open to hearing about future opportunities. But if I had to bet on an outcome, I would say Alex is too deeply connected to the environment there, so it's not impossible for him to stay, provided Napoli wants to keep him, of course."
