After Japan secured a 2-1 victory over New Zealand in a friendly match, student celebrity Honoka Kukita posted photos on social media showing her wearing Japan's national team jersey. She painted her face in support of the Japanese team and posed in a cheering stance on a train station platform.

Honoka Kukita wrote: "Can you guess which station this is?? Everyone was dressed like this on the train, so it wasn't too awkward!"

Fans left comments such as: "Isn't that Akihabara! Haha," "That's the Chuo-Sobu Line platform at Akihabara Station," "Wouldn't she stand out as a beautiful party-goer?", and "So cute, I wish I could meet her."

It is reported that Honoka Kukita is affiliated with entertainment agency "Ivy Entertainment" and won the "Seikei University Beauty Contest 2023" as well as the "Special Jury Award" at the "Miss of Miss Campus Queen Contest 2024."

She previously participated as a member of "Fujiko's," a group of female students selected from the late-night variety show "All Night Fujiko" (aired on FNS network stations until last March).
