According to English outlet talkSPORT, Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has attracted interest from Chelsea.

The report states that while de Jong was sidelined with injury, Rodri quickly established himself in Barcelona's midfield. Furthermore, Flick has several other options to choose from, and Chelsea are now monitoring de Jong's situation.

The report indicates that after failing to sign Lamine Camara from Monaco and allowing Enzo Fernández to leave, Chelsea view de Jong as the ideal replacement for Enzo.

Previous reports suggested that Manchester City had also considered pursuing de Jong, but halted negotiations after reviewing the player's medical report.
