According to AS, after Messi became a shareholder of Eldense, the club announced a three-member board of directors, with Mario Rosas continuing as general manager.

García-Montañés will serve as chairman of the board, Marcelo Méndez-Mingote as vice-chairman, and Fernando Valderrama-Garay as director. The new management team combines corporate management and football industry experience, with strong ties to the Alicante region.

García-Montañés is a lawyer specializing in corporate law and governance who previously served as president of the Spanish Association of General Secretaries and is currently general secretary of Andbank Andorra. He will be responsible for the club's institutional representation and public image. Méndez-Mingote is an Alicante-based journalist and Messi's communications director with extensive experience in football communications, focusing on the image and reputation of players, coaches, and clubs. He founded Unique FC and will be responsible for club communications and coordination of certain sports matters at Eldense.

Valderrama-Garay is an Alicante architect and secretary and vice-president of the Official College of Architects of the Valencian Community. He is also connected to Elda through his company, Subarquitectura, which designed the La Sismat athletics track—a project that won an IOC silver medal.

Rosas is a former professional player from La Masia who played for teams including Castellón, Hércules, Real Murcia, Alavés, Cádiz, and Eldense. He previously served as general manager during Carolina Ólguín's tenure at the club and will continue overseeing daily executive management. Sporting director Víctor Lafuente will also remain in his position.

Eldense will host Córdoba in Elda today. With the new board in place, the team aims to build on their recent comeback victory against Oviedo as a turning point, while the club focuses on long-term development.
