According to Internazionale's official Matchday Programme, Inter Milan U23 defender Bovio spoke about his idol, his growth experience, and his most memorable victory.

Bovio said: "I started playing football on a small pitch in Bellinzago Novarese, my hometown. I still remember my first goal when I was playing five-a-side football: it was a wonderful feeling because I scored with my left foot, which is my weaker foot. Who is my idol? When I was a child, I admired Puyol from Barcelona; he was my idol. Now I am lucky to train with many excellent players and learn a lot from them. Facing strong opponents is an opportunity, and I really cherish the shirt swap with Daouda, who plays for Arsenal and is breaking many records. We exchanged shirts after the Italy vs. England U17 European Championship match in 2025."

Bovio stated: "I have always believed that humility is the most important quality for growth, and that's what my first coach in Bellinzago taught me. At Internazionale, I have grown a lot. My favourite Inter player in history is Giacinto Facchetti; he is a role model for everyone. The best victory? It was last year when we beat Köln away in the UEFA Youth League Round of 16. The stadium was packed, we won the game in stoppage time, I also scored a goal, and it happened to be my birthday that day."
