Vinicius was sent off with a red card in the 72nd minute of Real Madrid's LaLiga Matchday 8 home game against Villarreal.

Vinicius had scored a goal from an assist by Bellingham, but VAR intervened and the referee showed Vinicius a red card for pulling William Saliba's hair during the play.

This was the second consecutive LaLiga match in which Real Madrid received a red card. Previously, Nacho Fernández was sent off for a DOGSO foul in their 2-1 away loss to Atlético Madrid in Matchday 7.
