Recently, a social media user claimed that after posting an emotional comment in a comment section, they received racist messages from a foreign player at Wofoo Tai Po. The user has now provided further clarification of the situation on our platform.

Original Post from the User

I am the person (account danny.1225_) who had a direct message exchange with the player featured in the screenshot. After seeing screenshots of my original post reposted on Dongqiudi and sparking widespread discussion, I want to clarify the full sequence of events and subsequent developments to avoid information gaps and unnecessary escalation.

First, I sincerely apologize for leaving an inappropriate comment on the player's post and for using provocative language such as "trolling" in my initial post on Threads. This was impulsive, reckless, and inappropriate behavior. I do not defend my original comment and deeply regret it.

Following the incident, I reported the situation to Wofoo Tai Po Football Club. The club responded positively, issuing an internal warning to the player and apologizing to me.

Subsequently, the player's father (Rodrigo Mesquita) actively and sincerely apologized to me via direct message, demonstrating a humble and responsible attitude.

Considering that the player is only 19 years old, my original intention was never to damage his career. Therefore, I have accepted his father's apology and have also formally apologized to his father for my initial inappropriate comment. Both parties have reached an understanding and the matter has been resolved.

I had already actively deleted my original post on social media well before it was reposted and escalated. Since the club and the player's family acknowledged their mistakes and offered sincere apologies, this matter has been appropriately resolved on a personal level.

I hope all football fans will view this matter rationally and cease excessive attacks on both parties. I also hope this young player learns from this experience. Thank you for your attention. This matter is resolved and should not occupy further public discourse.
