In the 6th round of the Premier League, Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 at home. Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Forest manager Oliver Glasner stated that his team created numerous opportunities but failed to convert them earlier. He believed the players' effort and performance were beyond reproach, and the match could still give the team confidence.

Regarding the team's performance
Glasner said: "We couldn't secure the win earlier, but we created so many chances—we should have. I've been involved in many games at this stadium, but I've never seen a team create so many chances. Ultimately, we couldn't convert these opportunities into goals. We conceded two goals before halftime, then had two more excellent chances, but then conceded in a ridiculous way, allowing the opponents to take a 3-1 lead.
Today, it seems only I am to blame for all of this. Whether you call it karma or something else, it feels like I don't deserve to win at Selhurst Park, because the players did everything they could. No one should be blamed; the players put in the effort and showed their ability. This performance will give us confidence, even though that might sound strange given the result. It was a crazy game, but for us, it's important not to just focus on the result.
Many thanks to the Crystal Palace fans, and also to the Nottingham Forest fans. It's not often that you get support from both sets of fans, so thank you very much."
Regarding Liam Delap's chance
Glasner commented: "90% of his goals come from powerful shots—that's his strength—and I won't blame him for that. He knows he could have handled it differently at the time, but I think if the same situation happened 10 more times, he would score all 10 times."
Regarding Crystal Palace's second goal
Glasner said: "I haven't watched the replay yet. Maybe it wasn't a 'clear and obvious error' today."
