Nigeria forward, Sylvester Igboun,  failed to rescue his Russian side, FC Ufa who crashed out of the UEFA Europa League following a 1-1 home draw against 9-man  Glasgow Rangers in their  play-off, second leg encounter at the Stadion Neftyanik, Ufa on Thursday, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.

FC Ufa crashed out  of the competition 2-1 aggregate after losing the first leg 1-0.

Igboun received a yellow card four minutes from time for a rash tackle on an opponent.

Former U-23 Eagles striker, Sadiq Umar who is on loan at Rangers from Italian side, AS Roma  was an unused substitute in the game.

Ovie Ejaria opened scoring for Rangers on 9 minutes, while Dmitry Sysuev levelled scores for the hosts in the 32nd minute.

Rangers were reduced to 10-men when Alfredo Morelos was sent off for an incident in the middle of the park.

John Flanagan became the second Rangers player to be sent off after he was judged to have fouled Dmitry  Zhivoglyadov in the 66th minute.
