De Graafschap have sacked their manager Jan Vreman after a poor start to the season.

De Graafschap who were relegated from the Eredivisie last season, lost 5-3 at home to FC Oss last Friday and are now a disappointing 16th place in the Jupiler League.

Jan Vreman has been involved with De Graafschap his whole career as a player, assistant and youth team manager. He still has a contract for life with the Superboeren .

De Graafschap are hopeful that with a new manager than can still be in with a chance of the promotion play-offs come the end of the season.
