Following the shock sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus this summer, Real Madrid supporters haven't had much to look forward to  as Julen Lopetegui continues to find his feet and produce results at the Bernabeu.

The reigning Champions League winners have scored just twice in their previous five league games, winning one of those  against Espanyol.

With the goals predictably drying up since Ronaldo's departure, Real fans have instead looked to their academy where their £38million signing, Vinicius Jnr, showed why he is one for the future as he starred in Brazil Under 20s' 1-1 draw with Chile on Saturday.

But that's not all. The La Liga giants are also set to sign another wonderkid and Vinicius Jnr's Brazilian team-mate, Rodrygo Goes, in January once he turns 18.

While the pair may be untested as of yet and are still very raw at such young ages, the duo sent Real fans wild on social media after Vinicius Jnr superbly assisted Rodrygo to break the deadlock in the friendly.

The Real forward turned his man inside his own half before bursting 40 yards down the left hand side to tee up Rodrygo in the second half.

The future Real link got fans dreaming of what's to come following the fantastic goal from the two teenagers at the weekend.

One fan said: 'Vinicius is so good, watched majority of the game and wow. Almost undefendable. His top speed is ridiculous too. Also, Rodrygo had a very good game. Our future will be great with these two.'

Vinicius Jnr has scored three goals in four appearances for Real Madrid Castilla and has featured twice for the senior side in La Liga since completing his move from Brazil in the summer.

Rodrygo is set to sign for Real in a £38m move from Santos once he turns 18 on January 9.
