Mario Gotze scored one and set up another as Borussia Dortmund eased to a 4-0 friendly victory away to fourth-tier Alemannia Aachen Monday.

Dortmund head coach Lucien Favre did not make the trip to Aachen due to a back injury but his side showed no such restraints and dominated from the off. 

After a period of sustained pressure, youngster Dominik Wanner drilled in the opener from Gotze's pass.

And it was not long before Beyan Ametov doubled their lead. 

Aachen showed flashes of danger on the counter, but never troubled Marwin Hitz with their shots from distance.

It was largely one-way traffic after the interval too and Gotze got the goal his performance deserved after a neat one-two on the edge of the box before drilling in from 18 yards. 

Philipp also got his name on the scoresheet before the final whistle, lashing in after jinking past two defenders.
