According to Globo Esporte, Brazilian Football Confederation President Samir Chaude expressed opposition to FIFA's plan during an event in Teresina, stating that CONMEBOL would discuss a unified stance.

The controversial plan promoted by FIFA President Gianni Infantino has suffered a major setback. The proposal sought to establish "FIFA Forward Enterprise" to raise approximately $4.2 billion by selling minority stakes in events such as the FIFA World Cup to private investors. However, UEFA strongly opposed the proposal, criticizing its lack of transparency and arguing that football governance should not be treated as a commercial asset. The criticism spread quickly, with multiple football associations, unions, and FIFA insiders joining the opposition.

Under immense pressure, Infantino was forced to abandon the plan. However, the political crisis continues, as UEFA is pushing for action against Infantino, and some European football associations have withdrawn their support for his re-election.

Brazilian Football Confederation President Samir Chaude also explicitly expressed his opposition during the inauguration ceremony of the Piauí State Football Development Center, stating that he was "not optimistic about this matter" and that he would make a unified decision with CONMEBOL.
